저는 이번에 대만 음식 첨 먹어봤는데
정말 먹킷리스트가 있다고 할 정도라는 게 실감이 나더라구요 ㅎㅎㅎ

쫀득한 피 속에 육즙 가득했던 샤오롱바오(소룡포),
쫀득했던 새우샤오마이(새우쇼마이),
부드럽고 맑은 국물이 완전 취저였던 새우완탕스프(*완탕면과는 다른 메뉴),
매콤하고 아삭했던 라웨이황과(고추기름에 무친 오이),
그리고 마늘향 나는 공심채볶음(*명동, 강남, 잠실점에만 있대요)

이렇게 시켜서 먹었는데 다 넘넘 맛있었어요.
특히 채소 메뉴들이 맛있어서 진심 깜놀...

그리고 특이했던 게,
우리에게도 이미 익숙한 이름의 딤섬들도 보이는데
먹어보면 약간 맛이 다릅니다!

엄청 맛있는데 뭔가 조금 이국적인 향이 베이스에 있어요,
그게 그렇게 크게 호불호가 갈릴 만큼 엄청 강하지는 않은데
뭔가 다르긴 합니당 ㅎㅎㅎ

한가지 더, 식사를 마치고 나오니
정말 많은 분들이 줄을 서서 기다리고 계시더라구요!

is one of the eight locations operated in South Korea
by the world-renowned Taiwanese dim sum restaurant, Din Tai Fung.

Taiwan is well-known for its gourmet culture.
Having tried Taiwanese food for the first time,
I can see why people say it’s a must-visit destination for foodies.

Here are some menu recommendations
for the Din Tai Fung Lotte World Mall branch:

• Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings): Filled with rich broth inside a chewy skin.
• Shrimp Shao Mai: Delightfully chewy texture.
• Shrimp Wonton Soup: Features a smooth, clear broth (Note: this is different from wonton noodles).
• Lawei Huang Gua: Spicy and crunchy cucumbers tossed in chili oil.
• Sautéed Hollow Heart Vegetable (Morning Glory): Fragrant with garlic. This specific dish is reportedly only available at the Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Jamsil branches.

Every dish was excellent,
and the vegetable dishes were particularly impressive.

* One interesting point: even for dim sum with familiar names,
the flavors are slightly different from what you might expect.
They have a subtle, exotic aroma in the base that makes them unique.
It isn't strong enough to be polarizing, but it is certainly distinct and delicious.

* Another tip: there were many people waiting in line after the meal.
